PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – A recent graduate of Pace University, Bryan Powell, will continue his basketball career overseas in Differdange, Luxembourg. The Middletown, N.Y. native has officially signed to play professionally with the Kordall Steelers in the Luxembourg Basketball League. Only four months removed from his final season with the Blue and Gold, Powell's career continues to reach new heights as he is now a member of Luxembourg's highest-level men's basketball league.

In his 2023-24 season with the Setters, Powell averaged 18.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists to go alongside a block and a steal per contest. In 29 starts the Middletown, N.Y. native led Pace in total points (533), rebounds (150), made field goals (211), made free throws (69), and blocks (29). He tallied 11 games with 20 or more points which included a career high 40 point performance.

Powell's impressive season propelled him into the ninth (1,643 total points) among the all-time scorers in Pace history. In addition to his 2024 All-Conference First Team selection, the forward was also named to the All-Metropolitan First Team and the D2CCA Second Team.

Despite the change of scenery for Powell, his performance on the court should continue to make an immense impact on his squad in hopes of raising the Luxembourg Basketball Cup. Be sure to keep up with the action with the regular season tipping-off next month.
