Four Setters Net First Collegiate Goals as No. 1 Pace Rolls Past AIC

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – It was an evening of first's at Northwell Stadium on Wednesday as four members of the Pace University women's lacrosse team scored their first collegiate goals as the Setters rolled to a 23-7 win over American International College.

The Setters will stay home for their next match-up, welcoming Franklin Pierce University to campus on Saturday, Mar. 16 at 3:30 p.m.

The Setters put the game out of reach for the visitors by the end of the first quarter opening up a 9-1 lead. The offense kept their feet on the gas, keeping the Yellow Jackets off the board for the second quarter while scoring seven goals to take a 16-1 lead into the break.

Lindsay Radmann was the first one to net her first collegiate goal, finding the back of the net with just over a minute left in the first half off an assist from Mary Kate Nawrocki.

In the second half, Nawrocki got the scoring started, scoring within 40 seconds of the period starting for her first goal of her Setter career. Two of the next three goals also were career firsts, belonging to Madison Ibach and Audrey Colucci. Ibach would finish the evening with a hat trick while Colucci scored one more time.

While she didn't score, Delilah Doyle recorded a pair of assists to earn her first collegiate points. Sasha Kulo secured eight draw controls to round of the stat sheet for the Setters.
