PLEASANTVILLE, NY – Pace Men's Basketball continues their winning streak after a 2-0 week with victories over Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) teams, Wilmington (Del.) University and RV Jefferson University.
The second half of play for the Setters proves to be where they shine the most, most specifically
Trey Boyd III, who has become a major weapon in the Blue and Gold's arsenal. After the successful week for the squad, the sophomore guard has been named Northeast-10 (NE10) Player of the Week for his performances in each contest.
The Durham, NC native averaged 17.5 ppg and shot 50% (8-16) from behind the arc. At Wilmington on Dec. 10, the guard recorded each of his 15 points in the second half and shot 71% (5-7) from the three-point line. When the Setters hosted Jefferson, he tied a season high of 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds and four steals.
Pace Men's Basketball (11-0) will be on the road for the remainder of the first half of the season and will be back in action on Wednesday, Dec. 18, in Staten Island, NY. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00pm.
