ALBANY, N.Y. – The College of Saint Rose remains undefeated at home (8-0) as Pace University fell 57-71, on Saturday afternoon. The Setters drop to 13-5 overall, and 7-5 in the Northeast-10.
The Golden Knights started red-hot in the opening quarter, making 10-15 from the field which led to a 13-point deficit at halftime for Pace. The shorthanded Setters would fail to find momentum in the second half leading to their fifth loss of the season, 57-71.
Saint Rose was led by the duo of Syrita Faraj (18 points), and Aniya McDonald-Perry (15 points, and 10 rebounds).
Pace's scoring was spread out with Arianna Stockinger (14), MacKenzie Martin (13), and Shanice Sinclair (12) supplying the most points. Sinclair posted a double-double adding ten rebounds to go alongside her 12 points.
The Setters wrap up their two-game road trip Tuesday night in Garden City, N.Y. against Adelphi University.
