Worcester, MA – The Pace University Women's Basketball team struggled Wednesday night, losing to Assumption University, 40-53. Their recent three-game skid has caused the Setters to fall in the standings as they now sit at 10-4 overall, and 4-4 in the Northeast 10.
Six of the first 12 points belonged to Shanice Sinclair as the Setters jumped out to an early lead over Assumption. In the opening quarter, Pace made 7-9 from the floor to take an eight-point upper hand into the second, 17-9.
