PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – For the second consecutive week, grad student midfielder
Aleya Corretjer (Thiells, N.Y./North Rockland) of the Pace University women's lacrosse team was named NE10 Player of the Week, announced by the conference Monday.
Correjter had another huge offensive week for the Setters, picking up eight goals and four assists in two games as Pace improved to 6-1 with the pair of wins. She also had two ground balls, one caused turnover and a pair of draw controls.
In Pace's 16-5 victory over No. 5 ranked Le Moyne College on Saturday, March 25, Corretjer tied her season high with five goals, while adding three assists on the day. The two wins helped Pace move up to No. 2 in the IWLCA rankings, the highest ranking in program history.
The Setters return to action Wednesday, March 29, when they host No. 9 ranked Adelphi University at 6 p.m.
