BALTIMORE, Md. -- The Pace University men's lacrosse team, ranked 12th in the country, advanced to 3-0 on the the season with a 12-6 win over Lynn University in a neutral site game played at John's Hopkins University's Homewood Field.
Senior attack
Marcus Ottaviano (Crystal Beach, Ontario, Canada/Nichols School) scored a hat trick on the day. Ottaviano scored the first goal of the game. Senior midfielder
Anthony Caputo (Westbury, N.Y./W.T Clarke) had a team-best seven points with two goals and five assists. Sophomore attack
Daniel Zabbia (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills West) had four points with two goals and an assist. Grad attacker
Ryan Brown (Northport, N.Y./Central Bucks) also scored twice.
Pace led 2-0 after the first quarter and 7-4 at the half.
Setter keeper
Louis Ragusa (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown) made 14 saves in goal
Lynn falls to 5-4 overall.
The Setters return to action on Wednesday, March 15 when Pace hosts Saint Michael's in an NE10 matchup at home at Pace Stadium. First faceoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
