Pace outscored the Lions 4-3 in the second quarter, getting a trio of goals from senior midfielder Anthony Caputo (Westbury, N.Y./W.T Clarke), followed by Zabbia's second of the day to give the home team a 6-4 lead at the half.

The Setters took command in the third, going on a 5-1 run throughout the quarter to build a sizable lead. Pace had four different players score in the period, as Zabbia and senior attack Marcus Ottaviano (Crystal Beach, Ontario, Canada/Nichols School) converted on a pair of man-up opportunities, while grad student attack Jake Veres (Robbinsville, N.J./Robbinsville) and junior midfielder Maxwell Streety (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park) turned in two even-strength goals.
