INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – The Pace University volleyball team earned a spot in this week's edition of the NCAA Division II Regional Rankings, slotting in at eighth.
This is the first time that the Setters have earned a spot in the regional rankings since the 2018 campaign which had the Setters finish with a final record of 20-10.
The Northeast 10 is well represented in this week's rankings, with the top three spots belonging to the conference. Adelphi holds the first spot; American International College is second and Bentley University slots in at third. Fourth place belongs to the University of Bridgeport while fifth is held down by Daemen College. Sixth belongs to Mercy University and seventh is owned by the University of New Haven. Southern New Hampshire, Pace's next opponent on Friday, is right on the Setters tail at ninth and Saint Anselm College is in tenth.
Pace (12-7, 3-5 NE10) will face the Penmen on Friday followed by another in-region match with Franklin Pierce on Saturday. The following week is the final week of regular season matches, with the Setters welcoming Post University to Pleasantville on Nov. 8 and then third ranked Bentley on Saturday, Nov. 11.
