PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pace University volleyball team suffered a 3-0 setback at the hands of Adelphi University at Goldstein Fitness Center Tuesday evening.
Pace falls to 8-4 on the year and 1-2 in conference play and will now turn its attention to its first of three consecutive road games, starting on Friday at Saint Anselm College.
The first set was a battle the entire way, Adelphi looked to establish a foothold with a four-point run to get the lead up to 12-6. Pace chipped away throughout the set and managed to gain a 22-21 lead following a seven-point run which was finished by a service
Brielle Jones. Adelphi rallied and took three points in a row to take the set 25-23.
Sets two and three were all Adelphi, with Pace struggling to get anything going and dropping the final two sets 25-10 and 25-16.

Yasmeen Muhammad led the way with nine kills a piece
Georgette Cosentino finished with 25 assists.
