Krista Dietz provided 11 points on five goals and one assist to shatter the Pace University field hockey single game scoring record in a 7-2 victory over the University of New Haven Wednesday afternoon at Peter X. Finnerty Field.
Pace moves to 10-5 overall and 7-3 in conference play. Today's win serves as the 100
th coaching win for Pace head coach

Pace scored early and often, and it was none other than Dietz who found the back of the cage first. Scoring 21 seconds in off an assist from
Anne Kopec, but it would not be the last time that Dietz would make her presence felt.
The Blue and Gold would not be done in the in the first quarter.
Francesca Fava got a shot in the back of the cage thanks to an assist from Kopec.
Dietz would it do it all herself not too long for her second goal of the quarter. About a minute after her second goal, she found
Noëlle Meij for Meij's seventh goal of the season. By the end of the quarter, Pace owned a comfortable 4-0 lead.
The Chargers did get on the board in the second quarter, but Dietz would score two more times to take a 6-1 lead into halftime. Dietz got her fifth goal in the final seconds of the game.
Dietz finished with 11 points off the five goals and one assist to make her the new program record holder for single game points.
The Setters will look to stay hot and extend their win streak to six games over the weekend against American International College on Saturday for senior day.
