PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Sophomore forward Arianna Stockinger (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Putnam Valley) scored 19 points, shooting 8-for-16, in a 69-54 non-conference loss to St. Thomas Aquinas on Monday afternoon at Goldstein Fitness Center. Stockinger went 3-for-7 from beyond on the arc. Along with Stockinger, freshman forward Ciara Collins (Bristol, Conn./Bristol Eastern) was second in scoring with 11.

Monday's game was the final non-league game of the season.

Graduate guard Lauren Hackett (Commack, N.Y./St. Anthony's) registered six assists. Sophomore center Tower Lorde (Saint Michael, Barbados/The St. Michael School) had 11 rebounds.

The Spartans (12-5) shot 50.0 percent for the game (24-for-48), compared to the Setters 35.9 percent (23-for-64).

At halftime, St. Thomas Aquinas led 37-24. The Spartans led the game with an 11-2 run and scored the first nine points of the game unanswered. It was enough for them to lead the entire game.

Pace rallied in the first quarter to cut the lead to two, 14-12, with 3:35 on the clock after a Hackett three-pointer coming off a steal by Lorde. The Setters kept it close until the end of the first period, but the Spartans would score the final four points to finish the opening stanza 22-16.

In the second half, the closest Pace would cut the deficit was seven, 47-40. Stockinger made a 3-pointer assisted by Shanice Sinclair (Mount Vernon, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman) with 3:30 left in the third period.

Up next, Pace will host Saint Michael's at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18.
