GAFFNEY, S.C. – Catapulted by a dominant second half, the Pace University field hockey team (1-1) registered a 4-0 win at Limestone University on Saturday.
Following a scoreless first half, the Setters put forth all their offense across the final 30 minutes of play.

Junior
Julia Eshleman (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) provided the Setters with a 2-0 lead later in the third quarter, while also capping off Pace's onslaught in the 58
th minute with her second goal of the game.
Ahead 2-0 in the fourth quarter, junior
Kate Demars (Huntington Beach, Calif./Edison) kept the momentum rolling with her third career goal in the 56
th minute.
Pace's four goals were assisted by four different players. In addition to Dietz,
Kyleigh Kearney (Chesapeake, Va./Grassfield),
Jessica Wolfe (Halfmoon, N.Y./Shenendehowa) and
Sydney Sims (Worcester, Mass./Notre Dame Academy) all picked up helpers in the game.
Freshman goalkeeper
Alina Buerger (Königs Wusterhausen, Brandenburg, Germany/Friedrich-Schiller-Gymnasium) recorded a six-save shutout to earn her first career win in net.
