PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The 55
th season of Pace University Football will kick off on Sept. 1 as head coach
Andy Rondeau officially announced the program's 2022 schedule on Monday. The Setters will play a total of 10 contests this fall, including six on the friendly turf of Pace Stadium.
Thursday Night Lights
The Setters' new campaign will begin on Sept. 1 with a non-conference contest against East Stroudsburg University. Pace welcomes ESU to town after beginning last season on the road against the Warriors.
The Blue and Gold's season-opener will be the sixth straight against a school from the PSAC.
More Non-Conference
On Sept. 10, Pace will play a traditional NE10 foe, Bentley University, in a non-league game on the road.
The Setters' third and final non-conference contest will be their first-ever matchup against Post University on Oct. 1.
The Home Slate
In addition to home tilts against East Stroudsburg and Post, Pace will host four NE10 games. Assumption University will visit on Sept. 24 while AIC comes to town on Oct. 15.
The Blue and Gold wrap up their regular season with back-to-back home games sandwiched around their bye week. Saint Anselm comes to campus on Oct. 29 while a second matchup against Bentley will be in Pleasantville on Nov. 12.
On the Road
Following the trip to Bentley in Week Two, the Setters will play three other games away from campus. Pace heads to Southern Connecticut State University on Sept. 16, in addition to making trips to both the University of New Haven (Oct. 8) and Franklin Pierce University (Oct. 22) in October.
