PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – In the first round of the NE10 Championship Tournament, the 11
th-ranked Pace University men's lacrosse team dropped a 7-3 contest to Bentley on Saturday.
It was a defensive battle at Pace Stadium as the combined 10 goals was the lowest for the Setters all season.
Senior goalkeeper
Louis Ragusa (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown) was once again stout in net. The Yorktown Heights, N.Y. native racked up 15 saves while posting a 0.682 save percentage.
Junior
Anthony Caputo (Westbury, N.Y./W.T Clarke) registered two of Pace's three goals while
Jake Veres (Robbinsville, N.J./Robbinsville) also found the back of the net.
Tim Cairo (Shoreham, N.Y./Shoreham-Wading River) and
Jalen Paul (Canton, Mass./Wilbraham & Monson Academy) chipped in points as well courtesy of two assists.
