LAKEWOOD, N.J. – Continuing a busy stretch to wrap up the regular season, the Pace University softball team was swept in a doubleheader at Georgian Court on Wednesday. The 0-2 day moves the Setters' record to 27-14 overall.

Game One – Georgian Court 2, Pace 1
Gisselle Garcia (Lemon Grove, Calif. /Mater Dei Catholic) pitched extremely well in a losing effort. The rookie Setter allowed just two earned runs with 10 strikeouts across six innings.

Garcia's superb season continues as her ERA now sits at 1.33 in 147.0 innings of action. She is also slotted second in the NE10 in strikeouts with 186.

Pace's lone run came in the second inning off a solo home run from another freshman
Brianna Shea (Oceanside, Calif./El Camino ). Shea is now tied for the team lead with three long balls this season.

Pace's offense once again only featured four total hits in the finale.

Sophomore
Anna Acevedo (Brooklyn, N.Y./Fontbonne Hall Academy) served as the losing pitcher in a quality outing. The Brooklyn native yielded just three earned runs on six hits in six innings of work.

NancyAnn Revilla (Staten Island, N.Y./Port Richmond) knocked in the Setters' lone run in the third inning with an RBI single up the middle.
