No. 12 Women's Lacrosse Wins at No. 19 Saint Anselm, 19-14

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Facing a fourth-straight nationally ranked opponent, the No. 12 Pace University women's lacrosse team logged a 19-14 win at 19th-ranked Saint Anselm on Saturday. The road triumph improves the Setters' record to 9-4 overall this season, 6-3 in the NE10.

It was a dominant, 9-2 start from the Blue and Gold that set the tone against the Hawks. The Setters followed with another 6-1 spurt in the second half to turn an 11-9 edge into a 17-10 lead early in the fourth quarter.

Senior Kayla Conway (Wantagh, N.Y./Wantagh) was once again steering the ship for Pace. The Long Island native found the back of the net six times, in addition to grabbing a game-high seven draw controls.

Conway is currently ranked in the top-five of the NE10 this season in points, goals and draw controls.

Angelina Porcello (Eastchester, NY/Eastchester) and Jaimie Bell (Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown West) joined in with hat tricks of their own on Saturday, while Sydney Juvelier (Centereach, N.Y./Centereach), Margaret Flocco (Patterson, NY/Carmel) and Jolie Urraro (Sayville, N.Y./Connetquot) each recorded two goals apiece.

The Setters used three goalkeepers in the contest with Kate Laico (East Meadow, N.Y./East Meadow) earning the win following a six-save first half.
