PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Playing their second non-conference doubleheader in as many days, the Pace University softball team defeated Queens College twice on Thursday afternoon. The Setters' second straight sweep puts their record at 9-7 this season.
Game One – Pace 1, Queens 0

Sophomore Alexandra Tejada joined in with a 3-for-3 effort of her own with two RBIs and a run scored.

In the circle, sophomore
Anna Acevedo (Brooklyn, N.Y./Fontbonne Hall Academy) earned her second win of the season. The Brooklyn native pitched well through six before running into slight trouble in the seventh.

After Queens cut the deficit to 6-5 following a two-out, two-run home run, graduate pitcher
Mackenzie Garrick (South River, N.J./South River) got the final out to earn her second career save.
