Shanice Sinclair (Mount Vernon, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman) led Pace in scoring with 15 points, shooting 7-for-13 from the floor. Junior guard
Katumina Mansaray (Ontario, Canada/Cardinal Newman Secondary School/Tilton School) netted 13, shooting 6-for-11.
The score was a one-point game after the first quarter with Bentley leading 9-8. The Falcons opened it up in the second, outscoring the Setters, 17-3.
Sophomore center/forward
Tower Lorde (Saint Michael, Barbados/The St. Michael School) pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Setters while Sinclair added nine to her stat line. Lorde also had five blocks, while sophomore
Arianna Stockinger (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Putnam Valley) had five.
The Setters made a run in the fourth quarter, winning the final stanza 21-11.
With the loss, Pace falls to 1-7 on the season, 0-4 in the NE10. Bentley advances to 6-2, 4-0 in league play. The Setters take to the road next to play at Franklin Pierce on Friday, Dec. 9 at 4 p.m.
