NEWARK, Del. – Playing a second match in as many nights, the Pace University volleyball team dropped a four-setter (17-25, 19-25, 25-23, 14-25) at Wilmington on Thursday.Â

Brielle Jones (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Palm Beach Gardens) was brilliant for the Blue and Gold in a losing effort. The Florida native posted her second double-double of the season courtesy of 15 kills and 18 digs.Â

Junior
Cydney Gardner (Snellville, Ga./Brookwood) also reached double figures with 13 putaways while sophomore
Georgette Cosentino (Scarsdale, N.Y./The Ursuline School) dished out a terrific 43 assists. Graduate student
Chelsey James (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) supplemented the attack with nine kills.Â

Cosentino also picked up nine digs while seniors
Jamie Bittiger (Saylorsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) and
Kayla Slusser (Westminster, Colo./Jefferson Academy) registered totals of 12 and 11 digs respectively.
