WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The Pace University volleyball team was defeated at New Haven on Tuesday night in four sets (18-25, 25-23, 20-25, 23-25).

It was the trio of
Brielle Jones (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Palm Beach Gardens),
Georgette Cosentino (Scarsdale, N.Y./The Ursuline School) and
Cydney Gardner (Snellville, Ga./Brookwood) that led the Setters' attack.Â

Jones and Gardner combined for 31 kills while Cosentino once again piloted the Pace passing with 49 assists.Â

Jones also chipped in 10 digs for her second straight double-double and fourth of the season.Â

Cosentino, meanwhile, hammered a team-high four aces while also earning seven digs.Â

Senior
Jamie Bittiger (Saylorsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) served as the Setters' top defensive player with 20 digs. She has now reached the 20-dig mark in five matches this season.Â
