PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pace University Department of Athletics has announced an update to its in-person spectator policy. The Setters' newest policies will go into effect on Saturday for the Pace women's basketball game against Adelphi at 1:30 p.m.
At this time, no visiting team spectators will be permitted in the Goldstein Recreation Center for athletic contests/scrimmages.
Attendance will be limited to Pace University student-athlete and coaching staff member guests. The number of guests will be based on each venue's capacity and will be limited as follows:
- Men's and Women's Basketball- 4 guests per student-athlete and coaching staff member
- Men's and Women's Swimming-2 guests per student-athlete and coaching staff member
Proof of Vaccination
All visitors over the age of 12 attending Pace University athletic contests or sponsored events will be required to show either:
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination- To be considered fully vaccinated, you must be ≥2 weeks following receipt of the second dose in a 2-dose series or ≥2 weeks following receipt of one dose of a single-dose vaccine.
- Negative results of a COVID-19 PCR test administered no more than 72 hours prior to arrival on campus if you have a religious or medical exemption
- Fully recovered from previous infection of COVID-19 and proof of a positive test within 90 days of the event.
Beginning on Jan. 28, 2022, proof of full vaccination will be required for all individuals over the age of five. Â
Health Screening
All visitors to the Pleasantville campus will be required to complete a health screening questionnaire that must be displayed to security upon arriving to campus at the security gate as well as when entering an athletic facility. Only those visitors who received a green check will be permitted on campus. Please clickÂ

Face Coverings
Pace University is requiring that all invited guests wear a mask at Pace home indoor athletic events regardless of vaccination status.
Please note, this policy is subject to change throughout the 2021-22 season in accordance with government mandates and University protocols.
