WALTHAM, Mass. – In their second road game in as many days, the 22
nd-ranked Pace University women's basketball team was defeated at Bentley University on Wednesday night by a score of 75-55. The loss moves the Setters' record to 14-4 this season, including 8-3 inside the Northeast-10 Conference.
Pace's defeat was highlighted by
Lauren Schetter (Beacon, N.Y./Beacon High School) moving into the top-five in program history in scoring. The graduate forward's eight points upped her career total to 1,446 across 104 total games.
Schetter currently ranks second in the NE10 in points-per-game (20.2) this season while also being slotted fifth in field-goal percentage (48.5%) and sixth in rebounding (8.3 rpg).
Senior
Lauren Hackett (Commack, N.Y./St. Anthony's) led the Blue and Gold with 11 points on Wednesday night, in addition to dishing out a pair of assists. Hackett recently became just the 22
nd player in program history with at least 250 career assists.
Freshman
Arianna Stockinger (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. /Putnam Valley) joined Hackett in double figures with 10 points, whileÂ
Katumina Mansaray (Ontario, Canada/Cardinal Newman Secondary School/Tilton School) andÂ
Naya Rivera (Pomona, N.Y./North Rockland) each tallied eight-point efforts.
Freshman
Tower Lorde (Saint Michael, Barbados/The St. Michael School) served as the Setters' top rebounder with four boards.
