Pace Women's Soccer Plays to 2-2 Tie at Assumption

WORCESTER, Mass. – Despite playing with a player down across the final 34 minutes of regulation and overtime, the Pace University women's soccer team battled to a 2-2 draw at Assumption College on Saturday night. The hard-fought result pushes the Setters' record to 2-2-3 this season.

Both of the Blue and Gold's tallies came in the first half against the Greyhounds. An own goal provided Pace with a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute, while sophomore Amber Probasco (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown) struck about eight minutes later with her second tally of the season.

Trailing 2-0, Assumption clawed back with goals in the 39th and 50th minutes of regulation.

Freshman goalkeeper Perri Anderson (Mountainville, N.Y./Cornwall Central) made seven stops for Pace, while the Setters forced Assumption's Julia Walsh to make five saves across 110 minutes of action.

The Blue and Gold's three draws—with 11 games remaining in the regular season—are currently the most in a year since 2015.
