SPARKILL, N.Y. – Coming off a resounding win at home last weekend, the Pace University field hockey team tallied a 2-1 triumph at Saint Thomas Aquinas College on Wednesday afternoon. The victory pushes the Setters' record to 4-3 this season, including 2-2 in the Northeast-10 Conference.
Junior
Cienna Bosher (Blackwood, N.J./Highland) put in both goals for the Blue and Gold—her second and third tallies of the year. She provided Pace with a 1-0 lead in the 17
th minute before making it 2-0 early in the second half.
Sophomore
Yske Brongersma (Arnhem, Netherlands/Thomas a Kempis) earned the assist on Pace's opening goal, while freshman
Noëlle Meij (Huizen, Netherlands / Laar & Berg Secondary School) found Bosher for the Setters' second tally.Â
Senior goalkeeper
Grace Henderson (Kingswood, South Australia/Unley) picked up her fourth win of the season in net. The native of Australia registered five important stops in a complete-game effort.
