PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Facing the third-ranked team in the country, the Pace University women's soccer team dropped a 6-1 contest to the College of Saint Rose on Tuesday night. The loss shifts the Setters' record to 2-2-2 this season, while Saint Rose improves to 5-0.
The Golden Knights were led by four tallies off the foot of freshman Mia Klammer, while Pace's lone goal was registered by sophomore
Amber Probasco (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown).
Junior
Aryanna Ortiz (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) earned the assist on the first career goal from Probasco in the 12
th minute of the contest.
Freshman
Annabella Cole (Selden, N.Y./St. Anthony's), the reigning NE10 Rookie of the Week, registered nine saves in net for Pace. She has now racked up 22 stops across the first three game appearances of her career. Â
