PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Going to five sets for the third time this season, the Pace University volleyball team was defeated by Post University (23-25, 25-19, 25-21, 19-25, 13-15) on Tuesday night.

Junior Brielle Jones (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Palm Beach Gardens) led the way for the Blue and Gold, putting together a career night against the Eagles. The Florida native racked up a career-best 24 kills, to go along with six digs and a pair of aces.

Sophomore Cydney Gardner (Snellville, Ga./Brookwood) supplemented Pace's attack with 11 putaways and a team-high .259 hitting percentage. Four other Setters registered multiple kills across the five sets as Pace finished the match with a .120 hitting percentage.

Freshman Georgette Cosentino (Scarsdale, N.Y./The Ursuline School) and senior Leonarda Uljic (Bronx, N.Y./St. Catharine) split the passing duties for Pace, combining for 36 assists. Cosentino chipped in eight digs as well, while Uljic matched a team-best with three aces.

Speaking of digs, freshman Morgan Amos (Ellicott City, Md./Mount Hebron) racked up a season-high 18. She also had four assists and tied Uljic with three service aces.
