PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Despite putting together an 8-1 advantage in shots-on-goal, the Pace University field hockey team (2-3, 0-2 NE10) dropped a 1-0 contest to New Haven on Tuesday afternoon.

The Chargers' game-winning tally came in the 29th minute as Reilly Bialko found the back of the net off an assist from Katherine Trammel.

New Haven's lone goal was also its only shot on net throughout the 60 minutes. Pace registered eight shots on target, including seven in the second half.

The Blue and Gold also tallied all five of their penalty corners after halftime, but were unable to find an equalizer.

New Haven's goalkeeper, Keira Integlia, posted the eight saves in net to pick up her third win of the season.
