Field Hockey Drops Overtime Contest at No. 3 Saint Anselm, 1-0

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Beginning their NE10 schedule against the defending conference champions, the Pace University field hockey team was defeated at third-ranked Saint Anselm in overtime on Saturday, 1-0.

Following a scoreless four quarters, the Hawks' game-winner was put in the back of the net in the seventh minute of extra time. Senior Sarah Bagley served as the hero off an assist from Jackie Gaumer.

Senior goalkeeper Grace Henderson (Kingswood, South Australia/Unley) and the Pace defense kept a clean sheet through regulation. The Australia native racked up a season-high eight saves against the Hawks, including a pair of stops in overtime.

Henderson has now yielded just two goals in four games this season, piling up 20 total saves in the process.
