WEST HAVEN, Conn. – Led by a dominant first-half performance, the 19
th-ranked Pace University women's lacrosse team posted an 18-7 win at No. 16 New Haven on Saturday night. The decisive victory pushes the Setters' record to 8-2 this season, including a 7-2 clip in the NE10.
The Blue and Gold scored the first 12 goals of the contest—doing so in less than 20 minutes of game time. They then went on to register the final three tallies of the first half to take a 15-1 advantage into the locker room.
Carlyn Mucci (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Walter Panas) put all four of her goals in the net during the first half as she finished the game with a team-high six points. She continues to lead the entire NE10 in both total goals (43) and points (47) this season.
Emma Rafferty (Bay Shore, N.Y./Islip) and
Kayla Conway (Wantagh, N.Y./Wantagh) also notched four goals in the game, while
Angelina Porcello (Eastchester, NY/Eastchester) put in a pair. Sophomore
Jolie Urraro (Sayville, N.Y./Connetquot) provided a tally as well to supply Pace with a 5-0 lead.

Jennifer Sommer (Lake Grove, N.Y./Centereach) each registered five draw controls as the Setters earned a 17-10 edge on New Haven in that category.
Junior goalkeeper
Sienna Masullo (Mount Sinai, N.Y./Mount Sinai School District) tallied three saves en route to picking up win No. 7 in net this season.
