Santouse and Dietz Tabbed NewYork-Presbyterian's Setters of the Week

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – In honor of posting impressive performances last week, freshman Krista Dietz (Mahopac, N.Y./Mahopac) of the Pace University field hockey team and junior Neimar Santouse (Clifton, N.J./Passaic County Technical Institute) of the Setters' football squad have been tabbed the Setters of the Week, presented by NewYork-Presbyterian, for the week ending Nov. 7, 2021.

Santouse came up with the biggest play of the game during Pace's 18-16 win over SCSU last week. With the Setters trailing 9-7 late in the third quarter, Santouse picked up an Owls' fumble at the one-yard line and returned it a school-record 99 yards for a touchdown. He also finished the game with four tackles as the Setters' defense allowed their lowest point total of the season.

Dietz wrapped up her illustrious rookie campaign last week during the Setters' two NE10 Tournament games. The NE10 Rookie of the Year put in the game-winner in the Setters' 1-0 quarterfinal win over No. 6 Saint Anselm. She followed that up with the assist on Pace's lone tally during their semifinal defeat to No. 3 Assumption. Dietz finished the season ranked No. 1 in the NE10 in goals scored with 20.
