PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – In honor of great performances in four Setter wins last week, graduate students
Brandon Jacobs (Cambria Heights, N.Y./Long Island Lutheran) and
Lauren Schetter (Beacon, N.Y./Beacon High School) have been named the Setters of the Week, presented by NewYork-Presbyterian, for the week ending Nov. 28, 2021.
Jacobs did a little bit of everything during the Setters' 2-0 stretch last week. The graduate point guard posted averages of 17.5 points, 6.0 assists and 3.5 steals in wins over New Haven and Mercy. Jacobs' top performance came on Sunday when he racked up a game-high 25 points and six assists in Pace's 30-point triumph against the Mavericks.
Schetter put together a pair of standout performances in the Setters' 2-0 stretch last week. The graduate student averaged 24.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in wins over New Haven and Caldwell. Schetter was especially impressive on Saturday when she picked up her 15th career double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds. She also chipped in five assists and three blocks across the two games.
