PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – In another wire-to-wire victory for the Setters, the Pace University women's basketball team posted a 74-58 win over Caldwell on Saturday afternoon. The non-conference victory improves Pace's record to 4-0 this season.
It was another sensational defensive effort that catapulted the Blue and Gold on Saturday. The Setters allowed just 36 points across the first 30 minutes—a total that allowed them to build up an 11-point lead at halftime and an 18-point edge mid-way through the third quarter.
The Setters' advantage would grow to as high as 24 points in the final frame of action. Caldwell finished the game with a 32.4 field-goal percentage, while not making a three-pointer until the 5:13 mark of the fourth quarter.
