WALTHAM, Mass. – Heading into the weekend on a three-game winning streak, the Pace University field hockey team was defeated in overtime at Bentley on Friday afternoon by a score of 3-2. The loss shifts the Setters' record to 7-5 this season, including a 5-4 mark inside the Northeast-10 Conference.

After 60 minutes of regulation couldn't produce a result on Friday, Bentley's Kate Slowe provided the game-winner in the fifth minute of overtime.

Pace owned a pair of leads in regulation but were unable to close the door on the Falcons. Junior Cienna Bosher (Blackwood, N.J./Highland) scored the game's first goal off a penalty stroke in the seventh minute. Bosher now ranks second on the team this season with five tallies.

The Setters would go on to take another lead in the 55^th minute of the contest. Freshman Krista Dietz (Mahopac, N.Y./Mahopac) notched her team-leading ninth goal of the season to give Pace a 2-1 edge. Bentley was able to tie the game up less than two minutes later.

Senior goalkeeper Grace Henderson (Kingswood, South Australia/Unley) posted seven saves in a complete game in net. The Australia native currently ranks fifth in the NE10 in both goals-against average and save percentage this season.
