PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Beginning a three-match home stand inside the Goldstein Fitness Center, the Pace University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 contest to Adelphi on Tuesday night.
Sophomore
Madisen Lupica (Buchanon, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) piloted Pace's offense with a team-high eight kills on a .250 hitting percentage. She also registered a solo block and a pair of digs.
Freshman
Daniella Abbastante (Sparta, N.J./Sparta) also put together a solid stat line with a season-high six kills and a team-high five blocks (three solo).
Junior
Brielle Jones (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Palm Beach Gardens) rounded out the Setters' attack with seven kills, while
Leonarda Uljic (Bronx, N.Y./St. Catharine) and
Stephanie Sicilian (White Plains, N.Y./Valhalla) each dished out nine assists.
Junior
Jamie Bittiger (Saylorsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) led Pace in the digs department with 11, while
Emily Cockell (Springfield, Mo./Kickapoo) chipped in eight digs of her own.
