ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – Continuing a terrific stretch of action, the Pace University field hockey team extended its current winning streak to three on Tuesday courtesy of a 6-1 victory at Molloy College. The triumph moves the Setters' record to 7-4 this season, including a mark of 5-3 in the Northeast-10 Conference.
Tuesday marked the second time this season that the Blue and Gold has scored six goals in a game. Pace has now outscored its last three opponents by a 13-2 margin.
Underclassmen sparked Pace against Molloy as five of their goals were provided by either freshmen or sophomores.
Freshman

Sophomore
Kate Demars (Huntington Beach, Calif./Edison) tallied her first career goal to put the Setters on the board near the end of the first quarter. Senior
Mia Radici (San Diego, Calif./Scripps Ranch) earned her team-leading fifth assist on the play.
Pace put two more in the back of the net in the second quarter as back-to-back goals from
Danielle Merante (Garrison, N.Y./Walter Panas) and
Noelle Meij (Huizen, Netherlands / Laar & Berg Secondary School) lifted the Setters to a 3-1 lead at halftime. Meij also assisted on a pair of Dietz' goals in the second half to finish the game with four points.
Senior goalkeeper
Grace Henderson (Kingswood, South Australia/Unley) allowed just the single goal, while making three saves in her seventh win of the season. She currently ranks in the top-five of the NE10 in both goals-against average (1.08) and save percentage (.803).
