WORCESTER, Mass. – The Pace University volleyball team was defeated at Assumption College on Friday night by a final margin of 3-0 (25-16, 25-13, 25-12).
After registering a career-high 28 kills earlier this week, junior
Brielle Jones (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Palm Beach Gardens) led the Setters' offense once again against the Greyhounds. She finished the match with a team-high seven kills, in addition to earning a solo block.
Sophomore
Madisen Lupica (Buchanon, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) followed Jones with six putaways, while three other Setters tallied two kills apiece. Freshman
Georgette Cosentino (Scarsdale, N.Y./The Ursuline School) chipped in on the Pace attack with a team-high six assists.
On the defensive front, four different Pace players picked up at least five digs. Junior
Jamie Bittiger (Saylorsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) recorded a team-best six.

The Setters will be on the road again on Tuesday night (Oct. 26) when they travel to face East Stroudsburg University at 7 p.m.
