NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Playing against Southern Connecticut State for the second straight game, the Pace University field hockey team posted a 4-1 road win over the Owls on Tuesday night. The victory pushes the Setters' record to 10-5 this season, including a mark of 7-4 inside the Northeast-10 Conference.
Freshman
Krista Dietz (Mahopac, N.Y./Mahopac) was once again at the forefront of Pace's offense on Tuesday. The NE10's leading scorer put in two more goals, upping her total to 14 this season.
Dietz provided the Setters with a 1-0 lead in the 14
th minute before tacking on the Blue and Gold's final goal late in the third quarter.
Junior
Jessica Wolfe (Halfmoon, N.Y./Shenendehowa) also recorded multiple points in the contest, finishing with a goal and an assist. Wolfe put Pace up 3-1 in the 42
nd minute, while also dishing to Dietz on her second tally.
Freshman
Melissa Ritchie (Brooklawn, N.J./Gloucester City) registered her first career goal for Pace right at the very end of the first quarter. Senior
Mia Radici (San Diego, Calif./Scripps Ranch) earned the assist on the play as the Setters took a 2-0 lead.
Senior goalkeeper
Grace Henderson (Kingswood, South Australia/Unley) registered four saves in her 10
th win of the season. She has now yielded one or fewer tallies in three straight games.

The Setters are back home this Saturday to celebrate Senior Day prior to a 1 p.m. game against Saint Michael's.
