SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Hitting the road for the first time in over two weeks, the Pace University volleyball team was defeated in three sets (25-14, 25-15, 27-25) at Le Moyne College on Saturday afternoon.
Junior
Brielle Jones (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Palm Beach Gardens) piloted the Setters' attack as she reached double-digit kills for the seventh time this season. The Florida native finished with 11 putaways, in addition to picking up five digs.
Following Jones on the offensive side of the ball was five kills apiece from
Madisen Lupica (Buchanon, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) and
Cydney Gardner (Snellville, Ga./Brookwood), while
Jada Screen (Suwanee, Ga./North Gwinnett) chipped in four.
Freshman
Georgette Cosentino (Scarsdale, N.Y./The Ursuline School) led the way on the passing front, finishing the match with a team-high 14 assists.
Defensively, senior
Emily Cockell (Springfield, Mo./Kickapoo) put together a team-best 12 digs. The Missouri native has reached double figures in digs during seven matches this season.
