PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Playing a second NE10 match on the road this week, the Pace University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 contest (16-25, 13-25, 19-25) at Saint Anselm College on Friday night.
Junior
Brielle Jones (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Palm Beach Gardens) once again led the Setters' offense against the Hawks. The Florida native registered a team-high seven kills across the three sets. Jones currently ranks third in the NE10 in kills per set (3.43) this season.
Sophomore
Cydney Gardner (Snellville, Ga./Brookwood) supplemented the Pace attack with five kills, while
Leonarda Uljic (Bronx, N.Y./St. Catharine) dished out a team-high seven assists.
Defensively, senior
Emily Cockell (Springfield, Mo./Kickapoo) picked up a team-best eight digs. The Setters also had five different players record at least one block in the match.
