SYRACUSE, N.Y. – In the final game of the 2019-20 regular season, the Pace University women's basketball team was defeated at Le Moyne College on Tuesday night, 55-42. The result puts the Setters at 19-9 overall this season, including a mark of 12-7 inside the NE10.
Pace now turns its attention to the postseason as the Setters have clinched the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Northeast-10 Conference Tournament. The Blue and Gold will host fifth-seeded Assumption College inside the Goldstein Fitness Center on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
Junior
Lauren Schetter (Beacon, N.Y./Beacon High School) powered the Setter offense against Le Moyne on Tuesday with a team-high 15 points. She also added five rebounds, two assists and a pair of blocks in the contest.
Jackie DelliSanti (Commack, N.Y./Commack) and
Lauren Hackett (Commack, N.Y./St. Anthony's) each finished second on Pace with nine points apiece. DelliSanti narrowly missed out on her 13
th double-double, finishing the night with a game-high 12 rebounds.
DelliSanti failed to reach double figures for the first time this year as she wraps up the regular season as the fourth-leading scorer in the conference (17.0 ppg). DelliSanti also ranks sixth in the NE10 in rebounding (8.5 per game), while Schetter finishes the regular season as the Setters' leader in both steals (41) and blocks (35).
Pace's defense once again kept the Setters in the game. The Blue and Gold failed to allow more than 60 points in regulation for the seventh straight contest. They now rank fourth in the league in scoring defense this season.

The Setters will take on the Greyhounds for the second time this season, having earned a 65-57 triumph in the previous meeting on Jan. 14.
