PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – In the First Round of the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament, the Pace University women's basketball team suffered a 59-45 defeat to Assumption College on Friday night. The Setters' season ends with an overall record of 19-10, marking the program's highest win total since 2011-12.

In a tight game throughout, the Greyhounds closed strong. Assumption finished the contest on a 15-2 run after Pace cut their lead to just 44-43 with 7:12 remaining.

The Blue and Gold's offense was led by 13 points from
Lauren Hackett (Commack, N.Y./St. Anthony's) and 10 off the hand of
Jackie DelliSanti (Commack, N.Y./Commack). They also each dished out a team-high four assists, while DelliSanti added nine rebounds to lead the squad.

DelliSanti wraps up her Pace career as one of the best players in program history. Her career totals of 1,298 points and 724 rebounds both rank in the Setters' all-time top-13. She also piled up 248 career assists.Â
Defensively, Hackett, Kendra-Cooper-Smith and
Kelsey Quain (Ossining, N.Y./Ossining) each notched a pair of assists versus the Grehounds. DelliSanti,
Kayla Podlovits (Middle Village, N.Y./The Mary Louis Academy), and
Iliana Krasniqi (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde) combined for the Setters' three blocks.
Collectively, Pace finished 17-of-54 from the floor (31.5%) including a 4-for-19 effort from three-point range (21.1%).
