MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Wrapping up a weekend trip to South Carolina, the Pace University baseball team split a pair of contests on Saturday and Sunday. The Setters dropped an 11-6 matchup to Post University before tallying a 5-1 win over Concordia College.
Sophomore
Michael Roll (Ramsey, N.J./Bergen Catholic High School) earned the win on the mound in the Setters' first victory of 2020. The New Jersey native tossed 4.1 innings of scoreless action, striking out five in the process.

The Blue and Gold's triumph over the Clippers was sparked by four runs in the second inning. Senior
Joseph Curcio (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills High School) provided the big hit when he tripled home a pair to give the Setters a 3-0 lead.

Curcio finished the final two games with a team-high four runs scored and four RBIs, while reaching base four times.

Freshman
Brian Primm (North Babylon, NY/North Babylon) followed Roll on the bump versus Concordia, registering three scoreless frames of his own.
Andrew Primm (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa Park) also put together an impressive two-day stretch, leading the Blue and Gold with five hits and four RBIs.
