PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - In the final weekend before the spring semester begins, all four of Pace University's winter teams are in action. The Setters' swimming and diving squads will remain in state on Friday for a meet at Vassar College, while Pace men's and women's basketball will square off with Saint Michael's College on Saturday.

Following strong performances in a pair of dual meets last week, the Pace University men's and women's swimming and diving teams nabbed a pair of Northeast-10 Conference weekly awards on Tuesday.

Sophomore
Patrick Dwyer (Tomkins Cove, N.Y./North Rockland) was named the NE10's Diver of the Week for a third time this season, while the Setter squad of
Jana Ciric (Nis, Serbia/Gimnazija "Svetozar Markovic"),
Annabel Keppel-Palmer (Kent, England/Maidstone Grammar School),
Leigha Kosakowski (Selkirk, N.Y./Bethlehem Central) and
Cristina Rosario Perez (Maunabo, Puerto Rico/Woodside Priory School) was named as the conference's Relay Team of the Week.

Dwyer won all four of his diving events last week against Iona and Bentley. He opened up the stretch with scores of 248.30 (three-meter) and 253.73 (one-meter) versus the Gaels. Dwyer went on to cap off the week by registering top marks of 274.35 (one-meter) and 291.68 (three-meter) against the Falcons on Saturday. He has now won eight straight diving events, while recording an NCAA-qualifying mark in the three-meter (325.13) earlier this season.

Pace's 400-free relay put together one of the best times in the conference this season during the Setters' meet at Iona. Ciric, Keppel-Palmer, Kosakowski, and Rosario Perez clocked in at 3:44.95, a mark that now ranks fifth in the NE10.Â

Pace grabbed a road win in a close contest against Stonehill on Wednesday, defeating the Skyhawks, 73-70. The Setters now sit in second place of the NE10's Southwest Division at 7-3 and 14-5 overall.

Lauren Schetter (Beacon, N.Y./Beacon High School) led the Blue and Gold with 27 points, marking the fifth time she's scored more than 20 in a single game this season. She also grabbed 11 rebounds for her sixth double-double this season.

Pace remains one of the most efficient teams from the field in the NE10. Shooting 45.4 percent from the field, the Setters rank second in the conference.

The Setters are 8-1 in road games this season while Saint Michael's is 4-5 when defending home court.

The men's squad was the second team to pull out a close victory earlier this week, squeezing out a one-point triumph at Stonehill on Wednesday.

Senior
Peyton Wejnert (Point Pleasant, N.J./Southern Regional) lifted the Setters offensively, finishing the night with a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds. The NE10's leading scorer (22.8 ppg) has now tallied three consecutive double-doubles, eclipsing 20 points in each of them.
While Wejnert continues to sit atop the conference in scoring,
Brandon Jacobs (Cambria Heights, N.Y./Long Island Lutheran) continues his reign as the leader in assists. Jacobs sets his teammates up to score an average of 7.7 times per game which also ranks him at fifth in the nation.

The Setters will be tasked with scoring on one of the better defenses that the NE10 has to offer. Saint Michael's ranks second in blocks per outing and third in steals this season.
