PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – With just a week left of Winter Break on campus, all four of Pace University's winter teams are in action this coming Saturday (Jan. 18). The Setters' basketball squads will each celebrate their Alumni Days inside the Goldstein Fitness Center, while Pace's swimming and diving teams travel to Bentley.

The Setters are 11-6 heading into Saturday's matchup against the 14-3 Bentley Falcons.
The Pace offense has been led all season by senior forward
Peyton Wejnert (Point Pleasant, N.J./Southern Regional). Wejnert has tallied five double-doubles this season en route to averages of 22.3 points and 8.6 boards per contest.
He ranks first in the NE10 in scoring and sixth in rebounding. His 29-point performance against Assumption on Tuesday marks the fifth time he's scored more than 25 points in a single game this season.
Point guard
Brandon Jacobs (Cambria Heights, N.Y./Long Island Lutheran) dished out seven assists in the Setters' last outing as he continues to lead the conference with 7.9 assists per game. Jacobs also ranks second on the squad in scoring this season, averaging more than 13.0 points per contest.
Defensively,
Ray Montilus (Union, N.J./Pope John XXII) leads the NE10 in steals with 2.7 per game. The senior has recorded multiple steals in 11 out of the 15 games he's played in this season.

Pace enters Saturday's home matchup against Bentley (12-4) on a two-game winning streak. The Setters knocked off No. 22 ranked Saint Anselm last Saturday while adding another win to their total on Tuesday at Assumption.

The Blue and Gold put forth some of its best defensive efforts in the last two outings. Last weekend, Pace held the NE10's top offense to its lowest point total all season.
Lauren Schetter (Beacon, N.Y./Beacon High School) has anchored the defense for the Setters, including posting six blocks in Tuesday's triumph at Assumption. She also recorded her second straight double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Jackie DelliSanti (Commack, N.Y./Commack) was once against the leading scorer for her team with 16 points on Tuesday. She came up just one rebound shy of joining Schetter with a double-double. DelliSanti ranks third in the conference at 18.4 points per game and fifth in field-goal percentage at 55.0.

The Setters continue a busy week with road trip to Bentley on Saturday afternoon. Pace's last outing came during the mid-week when they traveled to Iona.

Although both teams were defeated by the Gaels, there were numerous season-best performances on Wednesday.

For the men,
Alec Young (Loganville, Ga./Archer) clocked a pair of Pace's top marks, putting together a second-place effort in the 100-breast (1:03.48) before claiming gold in the 200-IM (2:09.70).

Sophomore diver
Patrick Dwyer (Tomkins Cove, N.Y./North Rockland) swept his events versus the Gaels, registering top scores of 248.30 (three-meter) and 253.73 (one-meter).

The Setters' final win of the night came in the 400-free relay. The team of
Dessaniel Jaquez (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y./Dobbs Ferry),
Samuel Gibson (Nassau, Bahamas/Saint Andrew's),
Brian Bates (Norwell, Mass./Norwell), and
Filip Turecky (State College, Pa./State College Area) came together to record a top mark of 3:19.79.
On the women's side, it was
Annabel Keppel-Palmer (Kent, England/Maidstone Grammar School) lead the way for the Setters. Individually, she tallied a pair of second-place finishes and one first-place effort. Keppel-Palmer was also a member of a victorious relay team.

Keppel-Palmer's silver finishes also marked season-best times in the 100-back (1:00.67) and 200-back (2:10.74). She then swam to the top time of 2:15.08 in the 200-IM, which also signified a season-low.

Keppel-Palmer capped off her night by winning the 400-free relay with
Jana Ciric (Nis, Serbia/Gimnazija "Svetozar Markovic"),
Cristina Rosario Perez (Maunabo, Puerto Rico/Woodside Priory School) and
Leigha Kosakowski (Selkirk, N.Y./Bethlehem Central) (3:44.95).

Ciric also posted a second-place performance in the 200-free (1:59.63) while
Joana Krause Massaguer (Premia de Mar, Spain/Institut Premia de Mar) finished second in the 500-free (5:31.38).
