PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Playing their first home game of 2019, the Pace University field hockey team was defeated by ninth-ranked Southern New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon by a score of 6-1.
Sophomore
Danielle Merante (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Walter Panas) scored Pace's lone goal of the game, which gave the Setters a 1-0 lead less than five minutes into the contest.
Junior
Mia Lennon (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Lakeland) earned the assist on the play, upping her career total to eight helpers in 23 games.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Grace Henderson (Kingswood, South Australia/Unley) posted 10 saves in net. She now has 42 stops this season, which ranks fifth in the NE10.
