PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – As the countdown to the new season continues, the Pace University football team has been voted third in the Northeast-10 Conference's preseason coaches' poll released on Wednesday.
The Setters, who are coming off a season in which they picked up their most wins since 1979, received 49 total points to finish behind New Haven and Assumption in the preseason rankings.
Pace went 7-3 a season ago to end the year tied for third in the NE10 standings. The Setters won five of their last six games in 2018, including a 3-0 stretch to wrap up the season.
The Blue and Gold will begin the 2019 campaign on Sept. 5 against Millersville at 7 p.m. from Pace Stadium.
