PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Coming off the most successful season in the program's Division II history, the Pace University football team has officially released its schedule for the 2019 campaign.

The Setters enter their sixth season under head coach Andy Rondeau in the fall. Rondeau led the Blue and Gold to a 7-3 record in 2018, their most wins since moving to NCAA Division II.

"The 2019 schedule takes on a new look with some opponent and format changes," said Rondeau. "It will be as competitive as ever with the familiar opponents, and the new addition to NE10 football. It is very exciting to consider the schedule. It will all be here before we blink our eyes!"

For a fourth straight year, the season kicks off with a clash between Pace and Millersville. The Setters will host the Marauders on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. at Pace Stadium to begin the new season. Pace has won the last two season-opening meetings with Millersville, picking up a 23-10 win last August.

The Setters will host Southern Connecticut State on Friday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. before their first road contest of the season one week later. Pace will travel to Franklin Pierce for their first-ever meeting on the gridiron with the Ravens on Sept. 21 at 6 p.m.

Pace returns to Pleasantville on Sept. 28 to host Saint Anselm at noon. The Setters closed out their 2018 campaign with a 33-10 road win over the Hawks. 

The Blue and Gold head back to the road on Oct. 5 to take on New Haven at 1 p.m. Pace will then play three straight home contests, starting on Oct. 12 when the Setters host Assumption at noon.

Two weeks later, the Setters will host Bentley on Oct. 26 for Pace's Homecoming game, scheduled for 1 p.m. Pace concludes their home schedule on Nov. 2 when the Setters host AIC at noon.

The season concludes with a pair of road games. Pace travels to Stonehill on Nov. 9 for a 3 p.m. contest before wrapping up the year with a second meeting against Southern Connecticut State on Nov. 16. Game time for the season finale is to be announced.
