PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Graduating senior Greg Poleon (Brooklyn, NY/Abraham Lincoln / Coffeyville CC) of the Pace University men's basketball team will be competing in the upcoming Gotham Hoops Invitational, taking place on Saturday, April 27, at Saint Francis College in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The showcase is the sixth annual event hosted by Gotham Hoops, which will feature 36 of the nation's top men's basketball seniors to play in a tournament setting in front of professional scouts and fans. Poleon, who is only one of two players selected from the Northeast-10 Conference, will primarily be competing alongside players from several different Division I conferences.

Poleon, who served as team captain in the 2018-19 season, recently concluded his career at Pace and played a pivotal role in helping guide the Setters back to the Northeast-10 Conference playoffs. He posted career averages of 11.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game while also leading the team in field-goal percentage and blocked shots during each of the last two seasons. The Brooklyn native will also graduate in May from the Lubin School of Business with a degree in Business Management.

Games at the Gotham Hoops Invitational will begin at noon on Saturday, April 27, with four teams competing in a tournament style bracket format. There will be a pair of semi-final contests followed by a consolation game at 4 p.m. and the invitational's championship game will tip off at 6 p.m. Admission is free for spectators and the games will also be streamed live at GothamHoops.com.
