EASTON, Mass. – Kayla Conway's (Wantagh, NY/Wantagh) goal at the 3:25 mark of overtime clinched a thrilling 12-11 win for the Pace University women's lacrosse team at Stonehill on Wednesday night. The Setters, who are currently ranked No. 20 in the nation, are now 6-6 overall this season (4-4, NE10).

Conway's game-winner served as the exclamation point on a career night for the freshman. The rookie tallied a season-best five goals on Wednesday, leading a Pace attack that featured four other goal-scorers.

Senior Juliana Marcolini (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley) notched her second straight hat trick, scoring Pace's first three goals of the contest. She chipped in an assist as well to finish with four points.

Amanda Dickerson (Riverhead, NY/Riverhead) and Carlyn Mucci (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas) also put forth multiple points in the win. Dickerson registered two goals and an assist, while Mucci added one of each.

Emma Rafferty (Bay Shore, NY/Islip) served as Pace's final goal-scorer, finding the back of the net at the 18:22 mark of the first half.

Freshman Sienna Masullo (Mount Sinai, NY/Mount Sinai School District) went the distance in net for Pace to pick up her sixth win of the season. She finished the night with 11 saves, which puts her total to 23 stops over her last two games.

Also on the defensive side of things, Pace put together 10 caused turnovers. Alexandra Maitland-Ward (Hampton Bays, NY/Hampton Bays)e led the way with three, while she and Conway each picked up a team-high six ground balls.

The Setters and Skyhawks traded 3-0 runs in a tight first half before back-to-back tallies from Dickerson put Pace up 6-4.

Conway would then strike to give the Setters a 7-5 edge, while a Stonehill goal with less than 30 seconds left sent Pace to the break ahead 7-6.

Conway would go on to score the Blue and Gold's first three goals of the second half—the final one providing a 10-7 edge.
